Good work, it's weird, I've seen this before..

You have on GTI.. It was @Emiles job. It has since been modified into a better working job however.

I've stated in a post before that you will see a lot of things from GTI here on IGC because almost every dev we had on GTI is now working with us here. Things however will be changed over time.

GTI devs are here, but why GTI code? make new?

Because it's their code. Like I said they're allowed to use their own code, and things will change overtime.

I think this is the right thing to do. Why start all over again? GTI had amazing scripts. I just want that the "build your own stuff" don't cause lag nor fps drops.

Exactly, and yea we won't have a "CITy" thing that no one used on cit. We'll have customizable ints only.

I fully agree with you on that. Everyone complained about how CITy caused so much lag when they got near it, and even though a setting was eventually added (I think it had something to do with limiting the amount of objects that could be streamed  in) and you could turn it on and it reduced the lag dramatically, players still complained about lag! And those players probably didn't even know about the setting! And what did they do? Removed CITy, only to eventually add CITy back, but only add a select number of zones and far away from San Andreas so players don't experience lag. And you know what the worst part about it was? Players rarely used them at all once they bought them and built them up! They only wanted them for status!

Amusingly enough, v1 of CITy didn't lag at all for me, even while running ENB. It was when he re-implemented it with a ton of additional textures that caused the game to shit itself. The problem was that Arran and Cheeze crammed so many CITy zones together that once built up you could maybe only see a 1/3 of your house at a time at best.

My question is will interior customization only be a thing with apartments? I'd like houses to also see a form of it where furniture could be moved/added/etc

Well, even v1 of CITy lagged for me,I actually left CIT for some time after the cramming of zones that you mentioned till I improved my specs because the lag was unbearable.

My question is will houses and apartments be seperate as in "I am gay" or will they both get merged? (aka no GTA ints will be there)
