First of all I will start by saying that this is my way of working as a cop! There are millions of ways to play! Be unique. Feel free.
Introduction
The police job is about keeping SA free of filthy criminals and scumbags who are an immediate danger to our society. The police job is considered one of the best jobs to work and practically it is the most active job 'criminals'. It is also a high playing job if played right.
Where can we find it:
You can find the police job at any police department spread around SA. You can also take the job at any of the major law groups' base.Calling a taxi to get there:
Step 1: Press B on your keyboard. Your phone a.k.a IGCDroid should slide in from the right of the screen.
Step 2: Click on the taxi icon with 'Taxi' written at the bottom. The locations menu should pop-up.
Step 3: Select 'Police Department' and the location (Default is Los Santos). If you are new, I recommend
that you first get the feel of the menu as things are a little confusing at the first sight.
Step 4: A taxi should appear on the street. Go near that taxi and press G. The taxi will take you to your destination.
Taking the job:
Step 1: Get inside the police department.
Step 2: There should be a person with a cop uniform standing. Go near him and make sure your touching him. A GUI should pop up.
Step 3: Select your division and your uniform. Note that you can't become a Police Chief, I will talk about the police chief division later on, leave it for now.
Step 4: There you go! Your now a cop and ready to kill criminals. Go solo or get a partner with you and your good to go!
There are mainly 3 divisions:
- Police Officer
- Police Chief (I'll explain this one later on)
- Detective
About the three divisions:
Police Officer: It is the normal police job. There is no special attribute of this division. You got out and kill criminals.
Detective: This is the same as police officer but a detective can also collect/investigate dead bodies. When
somebody kills someone, you will be notified where the new dead body has appeared. All of the dead
bodies are shown as a blue skull on the map. Go to the dead body's place and stand over the dead
body, you will be notified to start investigating, you will have to collect 10 clues in order to
investigate a body. When you have collected all the 10 clues you will be rewarded with 1 arrest and
1500$. Note that dead bodies only appear when a player kills someone, they don't appear
randomly.
