MTA: San Andreas Version
A small tutorial for people who don't know how to add modifications into their MTA:SA. Make sure that you can just add and replace files containing on
.dff .txd
and
.col
and nothing else.
I recommend you to use Alci's IMG Editor 1.5, it's easy to use than any other programs.
Download
Alci's IMG Editor 1.5
.
Make sure you follow these steps.
Spoiler:
show
Create a new folder and extract all files from the zip file into the new folder.
MAKE SURE YOU DO BACK-UPS BEFORE YOU REPLACE STUFF!

SAMP and Singleplayer Version
Adding and playing with mods in SA:MP and Singleplayer is not that difficult like it is in MTA. There is a awesome tool called
modloader
which allows you to add any kind of mod into your GTA Singleplayer or SAMP without having it closed or doing a restart.
You just need the latest version of CLEO and the ASI Loader, simply
just
download CLEO
because it has the ASI Loader included. I don't really need to make a tutorial for "How to install CLEO" since it's not difficult at all, just follow the orders of the program and you'll be fine.
Download the
modloader
.
Once you downloaded the modloader and installed CLEO, copy the modloader folder and modloader.asi and paste it into your GTA San Andreas game folder.
Do not
edit or remove the .profiles or .date folder! As you paste both files into the your GTASA get into your modloader folder, now it's simple - just create a new folder and name it like you want. As an example, you want to install some new car mods, create a folder called "Vehicles" or else. Created the new folder - paste the .dff or .txd file into this 'Vehicle' folder.
Now go in-game and enjoy.
