just an observation that i have made over the last year of me playing igc

it's about our player count

old igc in times around february, march, players have joined, but didn't quit

new igc, players have joined, but quit after 1 week or two

what is the problem? idk

maybe it's nothing and i like old igc better

Nobody likes a server created with quality anymore. That's why. RPG/CnR interest has been dropped overally.

I can tell you some reasons why IGC player rate is really low(max people i've seen is 33 players sincw i first started playing IGC on 3rd february 2018)
(1)Updates are rare in IGC these days.A server needs to have updates often(like 2-3 time(s) per week).No updates=players lose interest and quit IGC
(2)Lack of support.For example,you ask a question regarding IGC and it rarely gets a reply
(3)Most people in IGC come from EG and the 85%of them dont know how to speak English.Like we all know when you press tab in country category you see "EG"So there are lots of times EG players are the only ones online in the server and a newcomer can't contact with them.
(4)Low player rate results in people not being able to create a successful group(whatever type it is; law/criminal/civilian) since most players are already in a group,so they are" forced" to join old groups like SWAT,FTW, and  many more i can't remember atm.
(5)A group without group perks such as base,skin,veh spanners,.. is nothing.So if you say to a player to join your group he will probably ask you if it has group perks,if it doesn't he doesn't join,so simple
(6)For the reasons i mentioned above(i will add more in the future) most people are players who have 100+ hour online,i rarely see new people,and if i do i never see the same ones again.

Btw,lets be honest it isnt mostly about IGC's fault for all this.MTA SA is a really old game,its boring if you play it from the beggining,so people quit it and play newer games.
