Title: Server Upgrade Notice

Greetings fellow waiting IGC players,

In about 3 weeks or less, IGC will be available for access to all players. But to be able to know that we can handle the amount of players we're expecting to take in, we're going to need to upgrade from our virtual server to a more powerful dedicated server.

Current Server Specifications
CPU	1.8 Ghz (Gigahertz) [1 Core]
RAM	1 GB (Gigabyte)
Storage	50 GB (Gigabytes) Hard Disk Drive
Future Server Specifications
CPU	Intel Xeon X3450 2.66GHz (Gigahertz) [4 Core, 8 Threads]
RAM	8 GB (Gigabytes)
Storage	2 x 1 TB (Terabyte) Hard Disk Drive RAID1

Costs

Currently we are paying €2 (Two euros) for a server that will not give us enough power to handle ca. 50 players in the server. The server that we are considering an upgrade to will cost us €29 (Twenty-nine euros), and would allow us to have at least 400+ concurrent players. While the first month will be on us (pro bono), the first month after IGC is released, we will be running on generous players who want to donate. If we fail to be able to steadily pay for the costs of running a dedicated server, then we will have to downgrade back to a virtual server. This would mean that we would have a player cap that would not allow our whole community to play.

How can I contribute?

You can contribute by donating to either receive in-game premium tokens that grant you the ability to access certain features or just donate to be generous. Currently, we accept donations through SMS, PayPal and PayGol.

EDIT: We have moved to our new server, but we still need money before Dec. 31.

The IGC management has a low specification server which can not handle a big amount of players. They are planning to buy a strong server which would be able to handle a large amount of players before the launch but they need our donations to be able to upgrade.

Try to get at least stable online and playerbase before order powerful VDS. You can fail in second time.

It seems you didnt read the topic carefully. With the current vps, there will be no playerbase basically. The current VPS can't manage to fit the amount of members we have registered on our forums.

The server we have ordered is from dedimax.com (an OVH provider).
