Bad FPS
« on: July 10, 2017, 07:13:29 pm »
Hey duds,

I used to pull a constant 60 fps on the RPG server but recently struggling to keep it at 40. Anyone else experiencing this or is it just something on my end?

FPS started dropping since we merged with FTA, and all members are having fps issues

it might get even worse in the future, every week at least one new update comes to the server, in a year or two the server will be loaded with scripts and your PC will struggle, if you want performance in MTA you should really consider upgrading your processor.
or a faster HDD/SSD

I fixed my shit by joining the DayZ gamemode then going back to IGC. Might work for anyone else with this issue.

@Kingpool If you prefer Performance over Appearance, then consider re-downloading a modified version of GTA San Andreas with compressed textures and files to make your game look slightly uglier but perform faster (you can PM me if you need that). You should also, before you connect to any server, go to Settings > Advanced > Debug Setting and make sure that setting is on #6734 Graphics, it will disable server mods and make your GTA look plain and simple while giving you a significant boost in FPS. Even when you log in to IGC, disable server mods because they can cause a lot of lag.
