Complaint Guidelines
« on: November 13, 2016, 02:00:42 am »
So a player has wronged you? Well you are in the right place my friend!
I'll keep this simple; if you need to report a player your post needs to consist of these simple things to make our lives and as a result your life easier!

The topic should be:
Complaint - Name of player(s)

And in the topic you will need to provide:
- Your information (IG name, Forum name, Serial; any related information to identify yourself.)
- The Complained player(s) information (Same as above, any information you can give to identify the complained party.)
- The Evidence (Make sure to give all the information you can in your first post, including pictures and logs if possible.)

Now that we got how to make a complaint out of the way, lets go over some of the guidelines that will help keep this process from becoming a chore:
- Posts shall be kept to an absolute minimum! in an ideal complaint each involved party should only be posting once to give their side of a story unless an Admin asks for more information.
- Only post if you are actually involved in a complaint. If an Admin needs others to post for whatever reason then they will request it.
- Complaints should be about serious violations of the rules that actually effected your game play.
- Be patient! sometimes staff may need time to investigate a complaint before issuing any punishments.
- DO NOT tag staff members who are not involved.
- Do not ask staff members to read the complaint.
- If you're breaking a rule in the complaint that you made as well you are just as guilty as the player you're complaining about. And will be punished as well.

See? Its simple as pie! However, do be warned that the following can be reasons for a complaint denial.
- Lack of evidence / No rule broken; This is pretty obvious, isn't it?
- Complaint was based on a petty matter; We aren't going to be a dictator over your conversations, so act like a damn adult!
- Being dishonest will likely lead to a denial; If its found out that you lied to get someone else in trouble then their punishment will be transferred to you!
- Do not abuse this system to get revenge on or to 'punish' your enemies. If this starts to happen a complaint blacklist will happen.

Code: [Select]
Ingame Name:
Forum Name:
Serial:
Name of player you're complaining against:
What rule have they broken:
Date/Time the rule was broken:
Evidence of them breaking a rule:

Hopefully this won't see much use, but at-least you now know whats expected of you if you wish to complain about another player.
